Copper & Willow Experimental Workshop | Grove of the Oaks Festival

Take part in a truly unique craft workshop as Claire Mooney and Heather McDermott explore using copper and willow in this collaborative workshop!

Combining the strengths of two fantastic artists and craftspeople, Claire Mooney is a metal and silversmith who was recently featured on Bill Bailey’s Master Crafters and whose work explores the area of rural Mourne and Irish heritage. Heather McDermott is a sculptor of natural crafts whose woven willow horses were recently displayed as part of the Wake the Giant Festival.

This experimental workshop is really a special one and we can’t wait to see what one-of-a-kind pieces get made!

The workshop is on Saturday 14th of October from 10am–4pm with tickets available from £60 per person. The workshop is suitable for adults.

This workshop is part of Moneydarragh Hub's Grove of the Oaks Festival, celebrating the environment and sustainability in rural Mourne. For more information on the Grove of the Oaks Festival, please visit: www.moneydarraghhub.org/grove-of-the-oaks
