Brigid – Tumbling Paddy Storytelling Show | Grove of the Oaks Festival

Storyteller Sinead McAleavey unpicks the stories of the Celtic goddess at this solo-theatre show.

The epic, tragic story of the goddess Brigid as it has never been told before. Brigid is Sinead's first solo storytelling show – in which she takes a light-hearted approach to untangling the overlapping mythology of the goddess from the legend of the saint – and uncovers a role model for modern times. Classical and traditional flautist Thérese Bann will provide the musical backdrop.

The event is on Saturday 10th February with doors from 7.30pm (show is 1 hour). Tickets available for £10 per person. Tea and coffee will be available on site.

This event has been scheduled following our Grove of the Oaks Festival to ensure events that celebrate the environment and sustainability in rural Mourne can continue to be organised beyond the festival.
